Pavia Systems On Ramp

Pavia Systems On Ramp training solution combines top quality rich-media training material with a highly scalable delivery mechanism that employs the advantages of current computing technology.  Specifically, the product utilizes the distribution benefits of the World Wide Web and the power of the Application Service Provider (ASP) model of delivering software as a service, making On Ramp an effective tool to help organizations streamline the way they train their employees. 

In addition to high quality rich-media content existing at the core of our offerings, we are building a surrounding suite of features to greatly increase the manageability and effectiveness of our overall training solution.  The following is a description of On Ramp's major components:

Content
This is the base training content that is designed for web delivery.  In addition to our existing library of interactive content, Pavia is capable of modifying partner-provided source content for integrated online delivery.  The content includes:

• Descriptive text in web format
• Interactive graphics, videos and animations
• Web standards and e-learning compliance (accessibility, SCORM, etc.)

Course Packaging
Once content has been identified it is structured and packaged such that it can be delivered as a single entity, or “course”, in one of the following modes:

• Self Directed Learning
• Guided Learning (narrated)
• Blended Learning (combination of self directed and in-person classroom)

System Features
Once a course has been packaged and is delivered to customers via the web using Pavia Systems’ fully hosted online learning management system, Pavia will also provide supplementary features including:

• User management and performance tracking
• Content management
• Quiz administration
• Certificates of completion
• Language localization

Delivery
Courses are delivered through the Word Wide Web to customers using an ASP delivery model.  Using this approach, Pavia deploys, hosts, and manages access to On Ramp for multiple parties from a centrally managed facility.

• Applications are delivered over networks on a subscription basis
• Does not require additional qualified technical personnel in-house

Customization
In order to accommodate the unique requirements of each customer, Pavia will provide customization services including:

• Customized store front interface for enterprise customer
• Customer specific content hosting
• Customer selected course delivery
