  • Sales Development Representative

    HeadLight is looking for high energy Sales Development Representative to identify and qualify sales opportunities for our sales organization. This role will work with inbound leads, while also prospecting throughout our database to uncover prospective sales opportunities. We are looking for “hunters” that are ready to lay the foundation for a successful career in tech sales!

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
    • Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence.
    • Work within Sales team to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement .
    • Schedule appointments and demos for new logo acquisitions and expansion into existing customer base.
    • Partner with our experienced Sales Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills.
    • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business.
    • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in
    • Attend trade shows and events as a company representative providing product demos and collecting new leads.
    • Up to 20% travel.

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements.
    • Strong and professional communication skills — written, verbal, presentation.
    • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts.
    • Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win.
    • BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
    • 1-3 years of corporate experience (Software sales is a plus) is preferred.
    • Technical savvy with, social media, and other internet based research tools.
    • Willingness to adapt, learn, and continually refine your skills.
    • A great work ethic and desire for success and growth.
    • A sharp focus on your goals and professional development.
    • Proven ability to communicate effectively through telephone and email.
    • Experience in a startup environment is a plus.

    This is a full-time salaried plus commission eligible position. Compensation package include a competitive cash salary, benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability as well as 3 weeks of Paid Time Off and 401K.
