George White’s career has been focused on working with stakeholders in the infrastructure and construction industries to bring technology to the forefront in their operations. During his tenure at Pavia Systems, he has managed diverse teams and overseen numerous technology projects for customers ranging from Fortune 500 organizations to the federal government. George is recognized as an innovator in the transportation construction industry and provides over 10 years of management experience and more than 15 years of industry knowledge and connections to the company. He was responsible for the development of the Hot Mix Database, a web-based tool used to track and monitor asphalt road construction projects that received the TRB K.B. Woods Award, a top award for construction innovations, and Pavement Interactive, the world’s largest online resource for all things pavement. George currently serves on an industry-leading technical steering committee alongside members of state and federal government, private sector, and academia. He has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington.

As head of Pavia Systems’ business development, customer success, and marketing programs, Si focuses on growth across all market sizes, segments, and critical geographies. Under his leadership, the company has doubled its market share for the HeadLight Project Intelligence™ platform and has now been used on more than $10 billion worth of transportation construction projects nationwide.

Si brings 16 years of professional software experience, technical expertise, and management responsibilities to the organization and has an exceptional track record for delivering large-scale software systems on-time and on-budget reliably throughout his career. He served as product lead for the HeadLight platform driving its evolution from research to deployment. His experience includes customer requirements gathering, software architecture, product management, resource management, field support, and end-to-end execution securing several large departments of transportation, top-tier consulting engineering firms, contractors, equipment manufacturers, and industry-related materials companies onto the HeadLight platform.

Si gained project enterprise software experience with Andiamo Systems, Cisco Systems, and Real Networks, companies whose primary function is content delivery via the web and network infrastructure, after earning a B.S. in computer engineering from the University of Washington. He is also a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program offered through Babson College.

Steven Velozo has extensive experience in data research, application architecture, and software engineering. As Chief Architect at Promethean, Inc., a publicly traded company, he managed a diverse software development team spread across two continents. Steven has founded several successful companies delivering groundbreaking data analytics applications. Holding six patents ranging from large data processing environments through augmented reality machine learning systems, he brings two decades of senior leadership experience blended with a diverse and current software engineering skill set.

Chad Robins is the co-founder and CEO of Adaptive Biotechnologies, a commercial-stage biotech company that aims to translate the genetics of the adaptive immune system into diagnostics and therapeutics to improve patients’ lives. Prior to co-founding Adaptive, Chad held numerous executive-level positions in medical technology, investment and real estate companies. Chad holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Managerial Economics from Cornell University.

Dr. Joe Mahoney has worked in designing, constructing, and maintaining heavy infrastructure for over 40 years. He teaches undergraduate- and graduate-level courses on a range of subjects, including construction materials, pavement and airport design, construction-oriented statistical applications, and energy infrastructure. Joe is currently the Director of the Transportation and Construction Program and co-Director of the Distance Learning Masters of Construction Engineering. He is also an International Fellow at CSIR—Pretoria, South Africa, and serves on various national committees mostly associated with the Transportation Research Board.

As the Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications for Convoy, Ryan is working to transform the $800 billion US trucking industry through a fast-growing Digital Freight Network that is taking significant amounts of waste and inefficiency out of trucking while providing higher earnings for drivers, lower costs for shippers, with higher satisfaction rates amongst both parties.

Previously Ryan served as Amazon Web Services (AWS) General Manager for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Ryan focused on solving some of the toughest challenges that hold back machine learning from being in the hands of every developer. In his role, Ryan oversaw the marketing and strategy for the broadest and deepest set of machine learning and AI services in the industry and helped establish AWS and services like Amazon SageMaker as the industry leader for machine learning.

The hallmarks of his 20-year career include shaping Microsoft’s multibillion-dollar Surface commercial strategy and leading that business to double-digit growth, as well as bringing the world’s #2 search engine, Bing, to profitability with over 5 billion monthly searches. Ryan has had the opportunity to lead across a broad set of business, technology, and marketing challenges including responsibility for Microsoft’s consumer services portfolio with 600 million+ customers and revenues in excess of $3 billion.

Ryan attended Seattle Pacific University, where he received his bachelor of arts in business administration and management. He and his wife, Sarah Gavin, are the proud parents of four children who occupy them most days, weekends, and nights.
